Dashi monitors your social platforms for customer messages and reviews. You need to connect at least one platform to start receiving AI-drafted responses.

Facebook

Requirements

  • A Facebook Page for your business (personal profiles are not supported)
  • Admin access to the Page

How to Connect

  1. Go to Business Settings in your Dashi dashboard.
  2. Under Platform Connections, click Connect Facebook.
  3. Log in to Facebook and grant Dashi permission to access your Page.
  4. If you manage multiple Pages, select the one you want Dashi to monitor.
  5. Dashi will automatically start monitoring Messenger DMs and Page comments.

What Dashi Monitors

  • Messenger DMs — Direct messages from customers to your Page.
  • Page comments — Comments on your posts (Dashi can draft replies).

Auto-Populated Info

When you connect Facebook, Dashi can pull your business name, address, hours, phone number, and category into your knowledge base. You’ll be asked to review and confirm this information.

Instagram

Requirements

  • An Instagram Business or Creator account (not a personal account)
  • The Instagram account must be linked to a Facebook Page

How to Connect

  1. Go to Business Settings in your Dashi dashboard.
  2. Under Platform Connections, click Connect Instagram.
  3. Log in and grant permissions.
  4. Select the Instagram account to monitor.

What Dashi Monitors

  • Instagram DMs — Direct messages from customers.
  • Post comments — Comments on your Instagram posts.

Google Business Profile

Requirements

  • A verified Google Business Profile

How to Connect

  1. Go to Business Settings in your Dashi dashboard.
  2. Under Platform Connections, click Connect Google.
  3. Sign in with the Google account that manages your business.
  4. If you have multiple business locations, select the one to monitor.

What Dashi Monitors

  • Google Reviews — New reviews left by customers. Dashi drafts reply suggestions.

Manual Connection

If OAuth isn’t working for your setup, you can manually add Facebook or Instagram by entering a Page ID or Instagram handle:

  1. Go to Business Settings > Platform Connections.
  2. Enter the Facebook Page ID or Instagram handle.
  3. Manual connections are used for publishing content (cross-posts and AI-generated posts) via the Chrome extension, not for monitoring incoming messages.

Managing Connections

In Business Settings > Platform Connections, you can:

  • Set a monitored connection — Choose which connected account Dashi listens to for incoming messages.
  • Set a default posting target — Choose which account is used for publishing cross-posts and generated content.
  • Remove manual connections — OAuth connections cannot be removed from the settings page.
