Create Your Account

You can sign up for Dashi at app.heydashi.com using:

  • Email and password — Enter your email, create a password, and confirm via the link sent to your inbox.
  • Google sign-in — Click “Sign in with Google” to use your existing Google account.

Complete Onboarding

After signing up, Dashi walks you through two setup steps:

1. Choose Your Notification Channel

Dashi sends you AI-drafted responses for approval via your preferred messaging app. Pick one:

  • SMS — Enter your phone number. Works everywhere.
  • WhatsApp — Enter your phone number. Free for businesses.
  • Telegram — Tap the link to connect your Telegram account. Completely free.

You can skip this step and set it up later from Business Settings.

See Notification Setup for detailed instructions on each channel.

2. Build Your Knowledge Base

After notification setup, Dashi opens the Business Assistant — an AI chat interface that helps you build your knowledge base. The AI gathers your business details through conversation:

  • Business name, hours, and location
  • Services and pricing
  • Frequently asked questions
  • Languages you speak
  • Special policies

You can also upload documents (PDF, Word, Excel, CSV) or paste your website URL directly in the chat — the AI extracts and organizes the information automatically.

See Knowledge Base for the full guide.

Connect Your Platforms

After onboarding, head to Business Settings to link the social accounts where your customers message you:

  • Facebook — Connect via OAuth to monitor your Page’s Messenger and comments.
  • Instagram — Connect your Instagram Business account for DMs and comments.
  • Google Business Profile — Connect to monitor and reply to Google Reviews.

See Connecting Platforms for step-by-step instructions.

Your First AI Response

Once setup is complete, here’s what happens:

  1. A customer sends a message to your Facebook Page, Instagram, or leaves a Google Review.
  2. Dashi detects the message and drafts a response using your knowledge base.
  3. You receive a notification (SMS, WhatsApp, or Telegram) with the draft.
  4. Reply 1 to approve and send the response, or type your own version.
  5. Dashi posts your approved response back to the customer.

That’s it — you’re up and running. The entire daily workflow happens from your phone. No need to open a dashboard.
