Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Dashi platform (“Service”), operated by Dashi (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

Dashi is an AI-powered platform for small businesses that:

  • Monitors customer messages and reviews across connected platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Google, Yelp)
  • Generates AI-drafted responses using your business knowledge base
  • Sends draft responses to you via SMS or WhatsApp for one-tap approval
  • Posts your approved responses back to customers on your behalf
  • Generates social media content (videos, photo posts) for cross-platform publishing

2. Eligibility and Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of the business you register.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • One business per account. You may not share account access with unauthorized parties.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Platform Connections and OAuth

To use the Service, you authorize Dashi to connect to your third-party accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Google Business Profile) via OAuth. By connecting:

  • You grant Dashi permission to receive messages, reviews, and notifications on your behalf.
  • You grant Dashi permission to post responses you have explicitly approved.
  • You may revoke access at any time by disconnecting the platform from your Dashi dashboard or revoking access from the platform’s settings.
  • Dashi will never post content without your explicit approval. All AI-drafted responses require your review and one-tap confirmation before being sent.

4. AI-Generated Content

Dashi uses artificial intelligence to draft responses and generate social media content. By using these features, you acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content is a suggestion and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate language.
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all content before it is posted or sent. Once you approve a response, it is posted on your behalf and you assume full responsibility for it.
  • We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, suitable for your business, or compliant with any specific regulations.
  • AI models and output quality may change over time as we update our service.

5. Chrome Extension (Dashi Content Bridge)

The Dashi Content Bridge Chrome extension allows you to import your own social media posts into Dashi for cross-platform publishing. By using the extension:

  • You confirm that you own or have the right to use all content you import.
  • The extension only activates on pages you explicitly choose to import.
  • You may uninstall the extension at any time to revoke its access.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Post spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk automated content
  • Post fake, misleading, or fraudulent reviews or responses
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse customers or any third party
  • Upload, import, or post content that infringes any third party’s copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party platform’s terms of service
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use the Service for any purpose other than legitimate business communication and marketing

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Intellectual Property

  • Your Content: You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or import through the Service, including your knowledge base, approved responses, and media.
  • Our Service: Dashi and its underlying technology, AI models, software, design, and branding are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond what is necessary to use the Service.
  • AI Output: AI-generated drafts become your content once you approve and post them. You are free to use, edit, or delete approved content.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party platforms (Meta, Google, Twilio, etc.). Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for:

  • Changes to third-party APIs that may affect Service functionality
  • Actions taken by third-party platforms regarding your accounts
  • Outages or limitations imposed by third-party services

9. Service Availability

  • We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
  • We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability.
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service with reasonable notice.

10. Payment and Billing

  • Pricing and billing terms will be communicated at the time of subscription.
  • All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by law.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice.

11. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Dashi is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill.
  • We are not liable for any content posted through the Service that you approved, including AI-generated content.
  • We are not liable for any actions taken by third-party platforms regarding your accounts or content.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dashi and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Content you approve and post through the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights or applicable laws

14. Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected] or through your dashboard settings.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that harms the Service or other users.
  • Upon termination, we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • Sections that by their nature should survive termination (Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law) will continue to apply.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via your registered contact method and update the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of California.
